Juicy, flavorful and incredibly tender, this roasted chicken with white wine and garlic makes the perfect choice if you have to feed a crowd. You can prepare a delicious meal with minimum effort. All you have to do is to place the chicken into a baking dish, pour some white wine and a mixture made from crushed garlic, salt, pepper, dried thyme and water. Then cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and place it into the preheated oven. You have to bake the chicken for about 2 hours, it’s true, but meanwhile you can do other things, like preparing a large pot of mashed potatoes or rice 🙂
When I make roasted chicken with white wine and garlic I prefer to use chicken thighs and legs, skins on and bones in because the bones and the skin are full of flavor. The skin contains fat which melts in the oven and it’s not necessary to add oil or butter.
As regarding the wine, use your favorite white wine. If you like to drink it then it’s good and for roasted chicken.
You may serve this delicious roasted chicken warm, with your favorite garnish.
