Cabbage salad with ham and mayonnaise

Flavorful and a little crunchy, quick and easy to make, this cabbage salad with ham and mayonnaise is our favorite.
In Romania we have a special recipe with cabbage and smoked sausages or smoked ham which is absolutely delicious but my kids hate cooked cabbage. So, I made a salad and they loved it! 🙂
I made this delicious salad with cabbage, carrot, onion, ham and mayonnaise. I also added fresh dill because it goes perfectly with cabbage. You can also add red bell pepper, cherry tomatoes or apples.
You may serve this delicious cabbage salad with ham and mayonnaise as a starter. You can also consider it a meal because is very nourishing. A bowl of cabbage salad and a slice of homemade bread is more than enough for me.
