Profiteroles are French pastry balls filled with vanilla pastry cream or whipped cream and usually topped with chocolate sauce or dusted with sugar. Profiteroles are made from pâte à choux (choux pastry), the same dough used to prepare éclairs. It is made from flour, eggs, butter and water/milk (or half water and half milk).     This vanilla custard slice is a very popular Romanian dessert. It is made with vanilla custard and puff pastry and, optional, with whipped cream.     TV cake (Budapest cake)

    This TV cake, also known as Budapest cake, is a famous Romanian cake. I don’t know where the name comes from because it doesn’t look like a TV, but I can tell you for sure that it’s an absolutely delicious cake.
